Ceyana Canoe Club
Paddle Alberta has their bi-annual casino fundraiser at Pure Casino Argyll in Edmonton. Volunteers are needed for all positions and shifts.
This is one of our biggest fundraising opportunities and helps us provide funding to member organizations for insurance, equipment, and training.
Every volunteer must complete our Google Sign-Up Form:

The form takes just a couple of minutes. Volunteers can select the dates and shifts they're available for, and Paddle Alberta will contact them to confirm their assignment.
To give every member organization a fair opportunity to participate:
Until December 15: Each organization can fill up to 4 volunteer shifts. Additional volunteers can sign up and will be placed on a waitlist.
Starting December 16: Any remaining shifts will be available to all organizations, with no limit.
When: February 22–23, 2027
Where: Pure Casino 7055 Argyll Rd NW, Edmonton, AB T6B 2C4
Shifts: Daytime, evening, and late-night
Experience: No previous experience needed for most positions. Instructions and training will be provided.
Paddle Alberta will reimburse eligible volunteer travel expenses in accordance with our travel policy, including:
Mileage: Eligible travel to and from the casino.
Accommodation: Hotel costs when an overnight stay is necessary, subject to policy limits.
Meals: Eligible meal expenses during your volunteer trip.
Please keep your receipts and submit your expenses to Paddle Alberta after the casino. All reimbursements are subject to Paddle Alberta's travel expense policy.
You don't need to collect names or assign shifts. Simply forward this email to your members.
Everyone interested in volunteering must complete the Google Form so we can keep all sign-ups organized and give every organization a fair opportunity to participate.
