Hello Paddling People!!

As the paddling season starts to slow down for most, it’s time to show our club areas some love and get our paddling centres tidied up for the dreaded off-season. We are organizing small end-of-season clean-ups and are looking for a few good volunteers to help us out!

Buena Vista Paddling Centre Clean-Up

Date: Monday, September 21st

Time: 5:00 PM until we’re finished (sunsets at 730pm)

Location: Buena Vista Paddling Centre

What we’ll be doing:

·         Cleaning up the garbage and natural debris around sea cans, trailers, and the building. 

·         Trimming the grass and weeds as needed

What we need:

For Buena Vista, we are ideally looking for 4-5 volunteers with equipment. If you have your own yard equipment (weed trimmers, gloves, yard bags, etc. GAS OR ELECTRIC non-commercial only), please bring it along! Many hands make light work, and with a solid crew, we should be able to get this done quickly. Alternatively, if I can borrow some gear that would be helpful too.
