Slides & Lies 2026 - Annual Trip Presentation and Social

Registration open Oct 24 to Nov 14 

Items to prepare ahead of time:

• Your best slides (max of 10) of this season's paddling and some "lies" (a.k.a. stories) to go along with them. Trips DO NOT need to be Ceyana events but should be from this past season.
• Our AV coordinator Lori will be organizing photos for this event. Photos will need to be submitted electronically in advance. Upload your photos to this folder 2026 Slides & Lies Cloud Folder by Nov 12. Any photos submitted after the cutoff date or in excess of the maximum of 10 may be edited for space and time restrictions. There is NO WIFI at the venue and we will not be accepting submissions on USB stick due to new virus protection protocols.  
• For Mac users, convert photos to JPG first before emailing.
• Photos can also be submitted in JPG or PNG format. 
• Presentation tip: Copy your favourite photos into a separate folder and name it with a descriptive title, e.g. Jane Doe Slides & Lies 2026 Collection. Label photos with your name and number to help organize the upload to the cloud drive and allow photos to display in the right order. 

For example: Jane Doe_Slides & Lies 2026_1, Jane Doe_Slides & Lies 2026_2, etc. If you do not re-name your photos it does not matter what order you load them into your folder. They will automatically re-order themselves according to their original file number.

• Optional: Bring potluck dessert to share.
• Bring your own plate, cutlery and mug to speed up cleanup.
• Coffee, tea and cool drinks will be provided.

Arrive at 6:30pm to help with set up if you can. The club will supply a laptop and projector.

Guest registration (no former members, no suspended members) may be made available LATER ON to prioritize members first. It is not currently available.

• If adding guests, you will be asked for the following info for each guest: Full name, email, phone number, city, birth year and digital acknowledgement of the club waiver. Please have this information ready before you start your registration process. Full details are needed to acknowledge the club waiver and to comply with insurance rules. 
•  Member must log in and update their existing registration to add guest info.
• Members will be asked to acknowledge the Club Waiver and Privacy Policy on behalf of each of their guests to streamline the registration process. Each guest is emailed a confirmation of registration. Please ensure the guest information you provided is correct. If guests do not agree with any one of the Policies then it is the member's responsibility to remove the guest's registration.
