​The Flying Canoe Festival is a creative and interactive cultural celebration designed to engage with local history and all things awesome during a long winter night Flying Canoe Volant 2026.

Inspired by the legend of the flying canoe and French-Canadian traditions, of First Nations and Métis, the Flying Canoe Festival embraces the magnificent Mill Creek Ravine in Edmonton and the Francophone Quarter of Edmonton.
