The North Saskatchewan is now a Canadian Heritage River. Our own piece of the river is rich with history--an Indigenous trading hub, a fur trade route, and a focal point for early mining and industry. The river was plied with canoes, canot du nord, york boats, steam boats and ferries.
Join esteemed Club Historian, Tim Marriott on a guided tour of our river through town and learn about the craft that travelled it.
Do you have a boat with a story? Boast your boatstory! Wood canvas, aluminum, Rocky Mountain Cruiser. Bring it along and be prepared to share its story. Alternatively, join us in one of the Club's north boats.
