The Brazeau River is an advanced whitewater river with rapids up to Class III. Paddlers and their boats (canoe & kayak) must be capable of and appropriate for paddling in up to Class III whitewater.  There are full-day trips each day. Each paddler is required to have flotation and throw bag in their boat, wear a helmet and wet/dry suit. Random Camping, at non serviced sites at the confluence of Cardinal and Brazeau Rivers, off of the Cardinal River Road, west of the Forestry Trunk Road.
