This will be a Voyageur Canoe trip through Edmonton with the two club's two big canoes and will be limited to 14 paddlers.  The plan is to meet in the Capilano Park - Parking lot.  Load into as few cars as possible, leave enough vehicles  to go get the drivers back to Buena Vista, and head up to the start in BV park.  We will hike into the BV Boat Sheds, and haul our two canoes down to the river for the trip down to 50 St & Capilano Park.  We will have a historian along to point out the various locations of Fort Edmonton, maybe the remains of the original Edmonton Queen, old coal mine sites, a former ferry, and other points of historical interest.  We'll likely raft up for lunch, or find a sandy beach!  Participants will need limited paddling gear (paddle & life-jacket), rain gear, dry bag, lunch, drink and hopefully sunscreen, but not bug dope.
