The Wildhay is a beautiful little river that offers intermediate level (Class ii+) whitewater runs and some awesome lakes for those more interested in the flatwater experience, making this a trip for all types of paddlers (M. Lund, Mark's Guide for Alberta Paddlers). 

The Wildhay is close to William Switzer Park, northwest of Hinton. We will be camping in the Gregg Lake campground at the north end of the park in loops B and C (note, B has power). Booking for these dates opens about March 11th.
