This will be our fourth evening "Liver on the River". Not so much a paddle as an on river social, a drift, enhanced with fine pate, crackers, veggies and fruits, and legal refreshments! We will try to organize a shuttle vehicle drop off prior to our 5:30 PM meeting at the Laurier Boat launch (if bringing your own boat) or at the Buena Vista Sea Cans (if needing club boat and gear).
Club canoes and kayaks and related gear will be available for members to use. We will have a volunteer member or two to help coordinate folk, and make sure everyone gets back safely and on time. We are asking participants to register (no charge) so that we can control the group size and anticipate needs prior to everyone's arrival and organize the shuttle.
Please come prepared for the expected weather, a possible swim, and fluids for refreshment... and best all in a dry bag... this trip may require a cooler/a "chilly bin" and table/a bit of plywood for across your gunwales to lay your spread out on!
These are volunteer lead sessions and we do expect participants to have modestly good flatwater skills and some idea as to the river skills of eddy turns, and ferrying.
